Radioactivity

Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS) (sometimes known as radiation toxicity or radiation sickness) is an acute illness caused by irradiation of the entire body or most of the body by a high dose of penetrating radiation in a very short period of time usually a matter of minutes.

The major cause of this syndrome is depletion of immature parenchymal stem cells in specific tissues. Examples of people who suffered from ARS are the survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombs, the firefighters that first responded after the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant event in 1986, and some unintentional exposures to sterilization irradiators.

The three classic ARS Syndromes are:

-         Bone marrow syndrome

-         Gastrointestinal (GI) syndrome

-         Cardiovascular (CV)/ Central Nervous System (CNS) syndrome

Already during the reactor catastrophe in Chernobyl in 1986, the natural mineral zeolite clinoptilolite was successfully used for successful treatment of radioactively contaminated people, but also animals, soil and water.

Based on the experience of the past events (atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki), the experts were able to contain the radioactivity after the reactor accident in Chernobyl. 

Most effective was the treatment of radioactive influences immediately after exposure to radioactive substances such as cesium and strontium.

Application within the first 10 days also prevented radiotoxin effects, thereby saving lives.

The most effective therapy is directly after the first contact with the radioactive exposure. It is recommended to start taking the specially prepared zeolite clinoptilolite as a preventive measure.
